Ultrasensitive Leaky Surface Acoustic Wave Immunosensor for Real-Time Detection of Alpha-Fetoprotein in Biological Fluids

We propose an ultrasensitive leaky surface acoustic wave (LSAW) immunosensor based on molybdenum disulfide @ cuprous oxide—gold (MoS2@Cu2O-Au) nanoparticles and subsequent gold staining for the detection of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP). MoS2@Cu2O-Au nanoparticles, with their large specific area good biocompatibility, not only capture secondary antibodies (Ab2) but also amplify mass loading effect sensor in AFP. The signals are further amplified upon injection solution. developed achieved a low limit 5.5 25.0 pg/mL without staining, respectively. demonstrated its efficiency quantitative AFP complex biological fluids, including human serum saliva samples, excellent selectivity long-term stability, showing great potential quantification clinical diagnosis.
